Игра BlueAlien Flameball объединяет простоту и динамичность классического арканоида с современными графическими технологиями. Действие в игре разворачивается на висящей в пространстве одного из четырех игровых миров плоской площадке. Из блоков-кирпичиков на ней сложены полностью трехмерные уровни, которые выполнены в виде различных животных, техники, природы, и так далее. Но шарик летает в одной плоскости и может разбивать только нижний слой блоков. Блоки, из которых состоят фигуры, опускаются вниз, занимая место разбитых шариком. Слой за слоем фигуры оседают вниз и, наконец, исчезают с игрового поля. Кроме замысловатых фигур, встречаются и простые поля из блоков — как в классическом арканоиде.
